Otters Class ( 21⁄2 - 31⁄2)
The Otter's classroom is our youngest class of children ranging from age 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 years old. Of the four domains of child development, physical, language, social and emotional, our prime focus for this age is social and emotional development. Children learn how to share, interact, and regulate their emotions and social behaviors as well as learning academics such as ABC's number, colors, and shapes. This classroom is licensed for 9 students at a time.
Turtles Class ( 31⁄2 - 41⁄2)
The Turtle's classroom consists of children aged 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 years old. In this classroom our prime focus is a combination of all development. Children learn how to write and identify letters, numbers, shapes, colors, and mathematics. Children in this class are also incouraged to improve their social-emotional development with sharing, taking turns, regulating emotions and problem-solving skills. This classroom is licensed for 14 students at a time.
Seals Class ( 41⁄2 - Kinder)
The Seal's classroom is our Kinder-prep class that consists of children aged 4 1/2 to 5 years old and preparing to enter Kindergarten. This class will prepare students in all areas of development, especially in language and literacy. We focus on reading, writing, lletter and word recognition, mathematics, and cognitive development. The main goal of our teachers in this class to give our kids a running start so they can excel once they reach Kindergarten. This classroom is licensed for 14 students at a time.
School Kids ( Kinder - 13)
Our school aged kid's program is for kinder to 13 yrs old. We offer before and after school care as well as full-time summer daycare. During the summertime the students are kept busy with crafts, games, fine motor activities, free play, and daily outings. We provide all meals: breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack. During the school eyar we offer before and after school care along with care during school closures for Spring and Winter break. We do not offer breakfast before catching the buses to school. We do however serve afternoon snack after all children are accounted for from busses and after school transports.
Nap Room
Our nap room is reserved for 10 children at a time to nap from 12:15pm to 2:30pm. This is specifically for younger children who regularly nap. Each child has their own cot with a clean sheet and a blanket provided from home.
